With his hand securely gripping the cross bars, a warrior could punch through mail armor. This Katar, copied from an example in a British museum, has a “flame” blade and a brass handle with an antiqued finish. Elaborate flourishes on the grip and guard befit its status as a weapon carried by the ruling class. High carbon steel blade. Scabbard included.
